Are you a Mechanical / Structural Steel Construction Supervisor looking for a new Contract opportunity?

If so, Belcan Workforce Solutions has an exciting opportunity with a multinational oil and gas corporation at their site based in Hampshire.

This is a 10 month contract position and is full time on an Inside of IR35 basis.

What will we need from you?

  • The Construction Supervisor is responsible for construction planning, coordinate construction input and communicate with Construction management.
  • You will establish the Construction Planning Program and seek alignment of the planning scope with the Construction Advisor & subsequently with the Construction Support Manager.
  • Manage assigned projects and the implementation of contractors involved to ensure that the projects deliverables are completed for RFI, meet the quality requirements and schedule and delivered to project requirements.

The Construction Supervisor will be able to identify issues, problems and opportunities, make timely decisions and develop appropriate and innovative solutions and ask for assistance if required. You will be able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity and be able to work effectively in small to large multi-disciplinary teams, share and transfer knowledge within teams and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • BSc / MSc in Engineering
  • Good coordination & interface capabilities
  • Previous experience in a closely related position and / or project experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups and make presentations when required.
  • A person of integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments.
