CEEQUAL consultant.
Contract 1 month initially then odd days throughout 2023 - Outside IR35.
The Position
Belcan Advanced Solutions seek a CEEQUAL consultant on a part time basis to work with our multi-disciplinary engineering team. We are currently working on a project based in our office in Mortlake, London or Cheltenham.
The role will initially involve brownfield design solutions for upgrades to an existing site in the UK.
You will also work closely with our civil engineering sub-supplier in the North West.
The specific project involves updating fuel storage infrastructure at a former MoD site. Project requirements include development of a CEEQUAL Plan that is to be developed in parallel with design evolution and is to achieve 'Excellence' at each required reporting stage. The CEEQUAL consultant will interpret the CEEQUAL 'Excellence' requirements and ensure the project can fully comply and provide ad-hoc support throughout the project design phase.
The role is initially hybrid work with some office-based days (flexible depending on location) for project design coordination.
The CEEQUAL consultant is expected to advise BAS engineers and BAS sub-suppliers how to comply with project CEEQUAL requirements. BAS use a cloud-based document control solution and issue documentation electronically. Typical activities include:
- CEEQUAL Plan development
- Review design and suggest enhancements to meet CEEQUAL 'Excellence' requirements
- Ad-hoc support associated with each reporting stage.
- Responsible for CEEQUAL aspects of project delivery.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Extensive CEEQUAL experience
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple project requirements simultaneously
- Technical qualification to HND or Degree level
Preferred:
- Chartered engineer
- Experience on Top Tier COMAH sites
- Basic experience of piping, control, and electrical engineering disciplines.
- Ability to draw on a range of project management skills, tools, and approaches.
