Belcan's Marine Engineering Division is growing, and we're looking for CAD Technicians to join our team on a permanent basis. Our team brings together extensive marine expertise, delivering high-quality design, analysis, and engineering solutions to our clients.
You don't need a degree to get started; we are interested in people with CAD experience, the right attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
You'll be joining a supportive team with a wide range of experience, working on real engineering projects from day one, helping design and deliver solutions for the maritime industry.
What You'll Be Doing
Creating 2D drawings and supporting 3D models using CAD software
Working alongside experienced engineers who will guide and mentor you
Supporting design and project work on live engineering programmes
Learning industry processes and developing your technical skills
Contributing to high-quality work that makes a real impact
What We're Looking For
Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Marine/Nautical Studies, or a related subject
An interest in design, engineering, or how things are built
Knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drafting CAD software (from college or personal projects)
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
No prior industry experience required, we will support your development
