Role Overview: Join a dedicated team of BIM professionals delivering high-quality project outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- The BIM Technician / Coordinator will deliver federated 3D models and linked BIM data, including COBie.
- Conduct model validation checks and coordination reviews.
- Mentor early career professionals and improve departmental capabilities.
- Ensure BIM delivery compliance with industry standards and procedures.
- Set up and maintain the Common Data Environment.
- Support BIM courses and seminars.
- Prepare enquiry plans, tender reviews, and scopes of work.
- Validate modelling geometry and data.
- Chair BIM Coordination meetings.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a BIM Coordinator, Information Manager, or Technician.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Navisworks/Solibri for clash detection and coordination reviews.
- Understanding of ISO19650, PAS1192, and COBie data delivery.
Desirable:
- Experience in multi-disciplinary projects and commercial aspects.
- Ability to manage BIM software environments (3D, 4D, 5D, AR, VR).
